The idea of using imported compressed natural gas (CNG) to supply gas to stationary facilities is becoming more widespread.
The gas equipment plant Kontakt LLC has been working in this direction for many years and responds in a timely manner to emerging needs in the field of gas supply.
The first decisions and implemented projects concerned the supply of equipment for CNG filling stations using imported CNG. First of all, these are special reduction nodes. They provide a reduction in inlet pressure of 250 kg / cm² (25 MPa) to the required level.
However, compressed natural gas is not only used for CNG stations. Objects remote from gas pipelines can also be gasified on a permanent or temporary basis with imported gas.
To implement this task, modern special units for reducing gas under high pressure are needed.
Such projects are developed according to the technical specifications of the Customer. One of the requirements for such reduction nodes is mobility and compactness.
This made it possible to unload PAGZ (mobile gas tanker) with imported CNG.
Kontakt LLC has developed two-stage reduction units for an inlet pressure of 250 kg / cm², which makes it possible to provide the consumer with gas at a domestic pressure of 0.3 kg / cm² (300 millibars).
There are variants of the circuit without redundancy and with redundant reduction lines. At the request of the Customer, the reduction units can be supplemented with components and service functions, such as filling nozzles, fittings, hoses, connectors, electric heating of the installation.
The equipment is structurally placed in metal cabinets, convenient for loading and unloading, transportation and maintenance.
Gas reduction units manufactured by Kontakt LLC will help solve the following gas supply tasks:
— gas supply to remote facilities;
– connection to a mobile gas tanker;
– activation of the emergency gas supply line by connecting to stationary gas tanks.
Gas supply is carried out by similar PAGZ, and, using reduction units, is supplied to the consumer:
